These caps feel noticeably denser than the thin stock ones I had before, and bottoming out is quieter because of it. The matte black is completely plain, which is exactly what I wanted on a work board. Typing on them for a week now and no shine yet.

The 1.7mm PBT walls really do kill that hollow ping I used to hear on every keystroke. Typing feels heavier and more solid now, though it took my fingers a day or two to adjust to the extra weight.

Swapped these onto my board last week and the sound difference is honestly surprising — that hollow ping is just gone. The matte black finish is so plain it basically vanishes on the desk, which is exactly what I wanted. Typing feels heavier and more solid now.
